C000021a Fatal System Error Known Dll

An ordinary man - She Was a Quiet Man

an ordinary man
By: Frank Cappello.
Starring: Christian Slater, Elisha Cuthbert, William H. Macy, Sascha Knopf.
Genre: Drama (120 ').
Comment: Christian Slater simply amazing: the tough leaves and goes to the opposite extreme, a frustrated employee servile life and a job that satisfies (a little) and the portfolio (all) spirit. Operation that many consider to be excessive, that surprises for its splendid natural actor, definitely the best news of the film. That too, precisiamolo, lives with their own light: Some citations are evident (finalone all the space-time-labile within its borders to "Donnie Darko"), for the rest of the film innovative film language, bringing everything to the extreme, to ' exaggeration of verbs, situations and conflicts. Three characteristics that may soon elect him as a cult, although unlike the kind will be appreciated outside of the niche. The framing and mounting games reflect a sick psychology, in a sick world, with thoughts (and desires) patients. You do not save anyone in the first part, while love (im) possible for the beautiful model became paraplegic redeems the condition dell'impiegatucolo abused. But beware, because here is the fun part: Slater does not pass on the side of power, maintains its innocence, and with it, their insecurities. Nothing is trivial, all of the excessive: a desk study and the desired formula (the accepted therefore paradoxical), which works great.
Do not miss some shots, or mixed with cartoon hallucinatory visions, the iceberg of a continuous attempt to dazzle with bold juxtapositions. A "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (very) miniature.

Revelation beginning of 2008: THE GREAT JUNO

JUNO
By: Jason Reitman.
Starring: Ellen Page, Michael Cera, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman.
Genre: Comedy (92 ')
Comment: If you want to fill her mouth with fine phrases about abortion, and staining with politics and the election campaign (true, Giuliano Ferrara?) Also this little gem, a revelation at the Oscars 2008 , please let her also, but you then go for credible claims. Why Juno deserves everything, except the vulgar exploitation. Jason Reitman had us convinced from "Thank You for Smoking" and also in the history of the young, dissolute and nice rebellious 16 year old Juno (pregnant for a boring afternoon, enlivened with best friend) keeps the guidelines of a cheeky director, addressing serious themes with lightness, without ever falling into banality or, worse, ridicule. The youth slang dominates the film, so that the dialogue (almost in a parallel dimension to real life) closely resemble the style of verbal "Clockwork Orange" (but, mind you, remains the only common point of gradient). Juno is the new Little Miss Sunshine, a film that deals with the daily newspaper with cynicism, struggling to condemn (the only villain is the husband of the foster family, and here we take some reservations), but not short on sympathy. Naive and rebellion, stretched between the desire to grow and that of a freedom bound by a son in her lap. Abortion is an issue only touched upon, again without judgments. A choice that we appreciate: sometimes best to leave the moralizing aside, better to grant a public entertainment but also reflected a bit 'of free will. Given that the director (with tops-only flashback sequence and near misses, as delicate as the whole movie) often steals the show from the content ...
Do not miss: The soundtrack and opening theme. The CD of the film in particular depopulated already in the U.S..

How Long Do I Have To Apply For Unemployment

BACK: NOT JUST FILM EMERGES WITH TIM BURTON

SWEENEY TODD - The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

By: Tim Burton
Starring: Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Sacha Baron Cohen
Genre: Musical (116 ')
Comment: The director who knows how to dream more (and to dream) in Hollywood, probably the only one so profoundly unable to link the dream images and situations verosomiglianza the feelings and the human psyche (without weigh recherche ever do this), signed in blood on his latest masterpiece. For Sweeney Todd, history (true, albeit fictionalized 150 years of legend), Tim Burton plays it safe, relying on the "little brother" Johnny Depp, the most trasformistica icon of world cinema, and his partner-witch Bonham Carter, who many wanted associated with early-stage to a movie far more Shakespearean, and instead he found the role of witch (in various shades) that it, damn good idea, shot. But Burton is also, and above all, an innovator, one that takes the genre, he respects the way down, yet it leads to extreme consequences, finding poetry in the colors, static poses and dynamic, in accompanying sounds, even before that in "verses sung by its protagonists" (aspect that, to understand, but made famous US-made prototype of the musical, "Singing in the rain"). Waiver of the trust Danny Elfmann behind the score, Burton's good, but does not lose a comma of his genius, giving sets made in Italy (awarded by the Academy) and transitions space-time thrill For two hours the film sticks to the chair, building and in parallel with a dose of wise known chef, tableau vivant (paintings as cornerstones of this great fresco) and camera movements learned and never dull. The shape of the contents on the form and content, without a moment of weakness. "Sweeney Todd" film is perhaps the most daring, more subversive of Tim Burton, which is more than a simple certificate of origin: the most bloody of "Batman Returns" and "Sleepy Hollow", the most Gothic of "Corpse Bride" (which also follows the main traits of the musical), the bloodiest of "Edward Scissorhands" yet even more poetic. Made with a metric of grief and revenge, irony and noir death: Johnny Depp in makeup recalls the boy-robot who launched in 1990, but has lost its innocence. Because at the end of "Sweeney Todd" is just that: the epitaph of Innocence (also a child, eventually, will arm razor), a London ever so dark, where the suburb overlooking the monument (Not is part of a one-time Big Ben, absolute temptation for other directors) and the desperation on the ritual. A perfect film, which combines short jugular severed, blood gushing and lyrical, emotional but also increasing overall balance. Until that final tribute is the best Shakespeare, that of "Romeo and Juliet." A lesson for many "registucoli" (the last Tarantino or Eli Roth follower), which often stained with red directed only to "pure" (so to speak) of the horrid taste. One last detail: Sylvester Stallone in his career he won an Oscar, Tim Burton (as a director or film produced at least) no: Hollywood and they say they will be ...
Do not miss: The investigation into the dregs of London, within ten seconds only, fascinating, dips, involving: a roundup lightning in the ganglia of suburbia, topped by a nervous-off music ... Goose bumps.
