Ikusa Otome Valkryie 2

Smart TOTAL CASINO
By: Peter Segal.
Starring: Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway, The Rock, Alan Arkin, Terence Stamp, James Caan, Masi Oka, David Koechner.
Genre: Action-Comedy (100 ')
Comment: Perhaps the British would be enough to laugh at a comedy film with a very little ... Anglo-Saxon. After attempting to assign to Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean), a parody on the most famous secret agents of Her Majesty, Peter Segal relies on Steve Carell (definitely a cult film comedy in recent months) that part of Smart, 007 but messy too much and not enough fun. First catches the eye of the ability to combine smart so much damage, but also to design discrete projects: a hero is not the case for short, which probably makes it slightly more real than the story, the humor falls a little coarse, and has the great merit to break away from the tradition of "cops" (or gender roles) denied "in toto". That said the film mixes the action-movie (some of the explosions show a considerable investment of funds in a film that, in blissful ignorance, one might have thought not worthy of great sacrifices) to comedy, with only 3-4 really funny ideas (the very well known belly laughs), but an average level of well mixed tight-lipped smiles and lightheartedness of the film business. Another point of merit: Smart almost completely avoids the vulgarity that is so fashionable in this genre. Not to do the bigots, but for once the pair "ass-tits" is not synonymous with success in a work like this, a little rosy but we must open parenthesis.
Do not miss: The giant then bad becomes good. Hilarious. Able to stand on the already reasonable level of fauna of the characters.

DEVIL OF A TOTAL CASINO HELLBOY!

HELLBOY - THE GOLDEN ARMY
By: Guillermo Del Toro.
Starring: Ron Perlman, Selma Blair, Jeffrey Tambor, Doug Jones, John Hurt, James Dodd, Anna Walton, Luke Goss.
Genre: (110 ')
Comments: The devil-human Minghella grew serious. And not only in the transposition of the sequel (scheduled for 2011, the third installment of the trilogy) at chronologically, but also because, freed from the constraints imposed on the original storyline in the first episode, this second chapter of the fantastic adventures of Ron Perlman and company is able to exalt the visionary Guillermo Del Toro, a masterpiece that between pluririconosciuto (Pan's Labyrinth) and a work in progress (The Hobbit) it gives parenthesis fantasy anthology. This Hellboy is so much more convincing than the first, either because the plot does not purport to concede anything to the realism, the emotion that you want to send (not necessarily related to adrenaline action scenes, gaining from flowering tree giant in the city center, minute after minute of high-voltage poetry) Look for the greatest irony of the characters. It travels in space and mind, in a movie that plunders with style and good taste all European folk traditions, with a preference for the northern creatures (elves, gnomes, trolls and giants of stone). Hellboy is the fallible hero, a devil's body from potentially flawless, which opens the way to a feeling all human, and therefore null and void. Not a short masterpiece, but in summer very fertile soil of the cine-baloon, this work looks good at all. And that, believe it is a lot.
Do not miss the encounter with death, that re-designs and "notching" graphic trademark already the "Faun" Del Toro.

WANTED - Choose your destiny

WANTED
By: Timur Bekmambetov.
Starring: Angelina Jolie, James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, Thomas Kretschmann, Terence Stamp, Chris Pratt, Lorna Scott, Common, David O'Hara.
Genre: (110 ')
Comment: The film revelation falls in early summer, and proposes an action-movie hardly believable, but quite noticeable in its thick texture and very fast. Realism is another thing, but the way in which the director by the name problem Bekmambetov returns to prove to the public (after "The Warriors"), with a construction highly effective but that does not leave anything to chance or only to special effects, is admirable. The cast definitely helps, but with a lot of good things between the players in danger of falling into mere blockbuster was all there. The film rejects it, even if only in part, between the Matrix and Slevin, James McAvoy (too similar to Muccino order not to smile in the role of gunslinger, but this has to blame?) Has no time for a real character conversion, because the bullets fly (and curve, did you know?), people are dying and the mysterious fate of the frame gives birth missions missions. After all, this is not a film or psychological reflexive question in case of an invigorating, fast-paced and breathtaking, which confuses good and evil, revenge and fate, chance and calculation, and separates clearly the cold compassion. Upon arrival, unfasten your seat belt and you will be pleasantly surprised.
Do not miss the decisive final scene, shot with the innovative "bullet" in 70 runs''the protagonist's life and that if the parasites were fed until then.
